Children's Sunday School Classes
10:10 - 11:00 a.m.
Children’s Sunday School is open, without charge, to all children ages 6 months thru Grade 5. Teachers are trained volunteers who love children, are committed to their spiritual nurture, and serve as companions on the faith journey. Children attend classes based on their age or school grade as of Sept. 1 of this year. Maps of room locations are posted by the doors around campus.

- Nursery - Ages 6-35 months (Rooms 104-106 in hall by Sanctuary)
Our loving caregivers teach infants and toddlers to form an awareness of themselves, their importance as a child of God and a sense of relationship to other children and adults. Lessons stimulate all the senses and emphasize God’s love and the beauty of God’s creation.
- Enjoying God - Ages 3 thru Pre-K (Begins in Room 303 then moves to Room 300)
Children in Enjoying God begin their Sunday School classes with 15 minutes of Cherub Choir, learning worship songs, motions and connection to the season for the Church Year. Then, they move across the hall to a materials-rich, joyous environment especially prepared to enable them to personally discover the love of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, through story, song, and movement.
- Godly Play – Kindergarten thru 2nd Grade
(K meets in Taylor Room 402)
(1st Grade in Taylor Room 401)
(2nd Grade in Taylor Room 400)
Godly Play is a method of Christian formation that encourages children to explore parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action as means of becoming more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives. The welcoming class structure balances the personal and communal aspects of life in a Christian community.
- Learning to Use My Bible - 3rd Grade (Rooms 304-305 in the Gym)
Third Graders will spend the year exploring their new Bibles and encountering the Scriptures in a variety of enjoyable ways that will help them appreciate this treasure as a lifelong companion.
- Pathfinders - 4th-5th Grades (Room 202-203 in Wyatt Hall)
Designed to meet the changing developmental needs of tweens, Pathfinders encourages their growing discipleship by making timely and relative connections between Bible study, relationship with Jesus, and service to others. Tweens gain new tools for wise decision making as they prepare for Middle School.
