EMAIL List for Westlake United Methodist Church

Our church has an Emmaus e-mail list (WUMC-Emmaus) for Emmaus, Chrysalis and Kairos.

An e-mail list server is software that runs on WUMC’s Internet Service Provider’s computer which automates the process of keeping a list of e-mail addresses and sending an e-mail to everyone subscribed to the list.

Each person may subscribe and unsubscribe to the e-mail list by following the instructions below. When you subscribe, an e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address asking you to confirm your subscription. You must respond to be added to the list. This is a security feature. Upon successfully subscribing to the e-mail list, an introductory e-mail will be sent to you.

The list is moderated by a WUMC member or staff person. The moderator must approve an e-mail before it is sent to the subscribers. Each e-mail sent to the list will have the list name pre-appended to the Subject so you can readily identify e-mail from the Church and it will also have a trailer added to the body of the e-mail identifying the list and giving instructions on how to unsubscribe from the list.
