Westlake UMW

Westlake Women

We are a community of women who gather in supportive fellowship and fun and whose purpose is to know God, experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, and to serve in mission to make life better for women, children, youth and marginalized neighbors in today’s global village.  We celebrate an inclusive membership and welcome all women who want to gather with us.  Being a member of The United Methodist Church is not required nor is there any minimum age requirement.

On the national level, United Methodist Women is a nearly 1 million member-strong organization of women meeting in their local churches who annually contribute nearly $25 million to global ministries in over 100 countries of the world.   As part of this national organization, Westlake’s women want to create a supportive church community that nurtures their spiritual journeys and provides opportunities to:

  • Develop leadership
  • Learn about issues impacting our neighborhoods, nation and world;
  • Participate in shaping public policy;
  • Support projects that empower women, children and youth in the United States and around the world.
